We are looking for workers to join the ECM team reaching out to villages in the Pedroches valley.
Description
In the Pedroches valley, north of the Spanish city of Córdoba, an ECM team is active in different church planting initiatives.
At present we are looking for full time workers or retired people willing to live in a small rural area to be salt and light in their neighbourhood. They should have a desire to support the local church in Pozoblanco, some 20 mins drive away, until such a time as a community in Villanueva de Cordoba could become an independent church. This village of roughly 8,000 people, along with satelite villages within a short drive, is in a quiet area of the province of Cordoba and at the present time is promoting its agricultural heritage and produce such as the famous pata negra (Iberian pork 100% acorn fed).
Qualities
Workers should be able to relate to others easily and have some experience in a church leadership role with some theological and missiological training. They should ideally be able to speak Spanish or willing to learn it well either before they arrive or in the village. They are expected to be an active member of their present church.
